Transport For London has linked with EMI Music Publishing for a Tube-inspired range.  The initial range, created by 1977 Design, features 6 songs handpicked for their London inspired lyrics.

The songs are:

  • "Camden Town” © 1995 written by Suggs & Michael Barson
  • “Electric Avenue” © 1982 written by Eddy Grant
  • “Albion” © 2005 written by Peter Doherty
  • “Itchycoo Park” © 1967 written Steve Marriott & Ronnie Lane
  • “Towers Of London” © 1980 written by Andy Partridge
  • “The Boy Looked At Johnny” © 2002 written by Peter Doherty & Carl Barat

EMI Music Collection

Transport For London has linked with EMI Music Publishing for a Tube-inspired range. The range features lyrics written by EMI Music Publishing songwriters including Peter Doherty, Eddy Grant, Steve Marriott & Ronnie Laine, Sir John Johns (aka Andy Partridge) and Suggs. Each lyric features on merchandise in two individual designs – one based on the classic London Underground typography and map designed by Harry Beck, and one inspired by the song, its genre and era.
