This fabulous mug has a printed design on it taken from an old London Transport poster. Big enough for a good sized cuppa but not so big you could take a swim in it. A pleasure to drink from and a pleasure to look at.

Aldo Cosomati:
The Italian artist Aldo Cosomati spent five years in Zurich, where he studied drawing, printing, book binding and furniture design. He settled in London at the end of the First World War and began to specialise in commercial art. He was soon introduced to Harold Curwen, of the Curwen Press, by Tichard Temple. He produced work for him up until the 1970's.
